Poems on Water Competition

WaterAid has teamed up with the UK’s green poet, Martin Kiszko, to encourage children and young people to enter into a national water-themed poetry competition – Poems on Water
Poetry is a brilliant way of engaging young people to think about water issues, and the poetry competition links into lots of different areas of the curriculum.

The competition is open to all age groups and the winning school will receive a workshop and performance by Martin Kiszko, as well as signed books and WaterAid goodies.

“The children clearly enjoyed listening to Martin and being inspired by his fantastically funny poems.”

Chris Parker, Headteacher of Orchard Primary School.
